Noel’s Hustle & Burn

Noel begins with a 45 minute rockin’ spin class that will include an endurance pace, meeting threshold, and then blasting to the finish line with interval sets. Noel will then transition everyone into the yoga room for 45 minutes of a core-focused blend of isolation work and high intensity intervals, followed by an amazing cool down with a deep stretch session. It might BURN but you will NOT regret it. (It’s bikini season all year in So-cal)

LSD: Long, Slow & Deep Yin Yoga with Jen Dapper
Sunday, September 14th from 4:30 to 6pm

Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

While initially this style of yoga can seem passive, or soft, a Yin practice can be quite challenging due to the long duration of the poses. We can remain in the postures anywhere from one to twenty minutes! After you have experienced it, even just once, you will realize that you have been doing only half of the asana practice.

We are excited to announce H&F will host a mega ride lead by instructors Greg Davis, Hester Van Hooven Ward, Jo Ann Mendelson and Nicole Sciacca!
